PFLAG is the United States first and largest organization uniting parents, families, friends and allies who work together to create an equitable and inclusive world. Since our founding in 1973, PFLAG works every day to ensure LGBTQ+ people everywhere are safe, celebrated, empowered and loved.
PFLAG Mercer County was formed when PFLAG Princeton (formed in 2010) and PFLAG Robbinsville (formed in 2022) joined forces to better serve all county residents. As part of the PFLAG National organization, we support families, educate allies, and advocate for equality with a large network of members, supporters, and partners.
Community Support – PFLAG Mercer County hosts monthly meetings, alternating between in-person and online meetings. Attendees have the opportunity to share their experiences, feelings, and challenges in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment. Visit the Meetings tab to learn more
Education – Some meetings focus on a specific topic relevant to the communities we serve. In addition, we provide on-demand resources and are able to provide guest speakers upon request to promote a deeper understanding of LGBTQ+ issues. Visit the Resources tab for learning resources and more.
Advocacy – PFLAG strives to partner with other local and National organizations to educate key decision-makers about the issues that affect our loved ones, and to teach others how to use their voices to amplify our efforts toward a more equitable and just world for the LGBTQ+ community.
